Chemical Peels

Anjella Paulette Esthetics is a one-of-its-kind destination in Norfolk Virginia that offers the most advanced aesthetic treatments for those desiring to slow the aging process. From facials to more advanced aesthetic treatment, we research and test out all of the products we carry in our spa to ensure we can provide you with the best.

This is why we use a variety of chemical peels that are only available to esthetic professionals in order to deliver advanced effective, safe, and balanced treatments with maximum outcomes. While there is a range of chemical peel products that contain different formulations and strengths of exfoliating acids, our cosmetic providers will decide on the right product to use based on your skin type and desired outcomes.

Whether your skin is extremely sensitive, dehydrated, aging, or acne-prone, our experts have the perfect chemical peel product to achieve your desired outcome.

The Chemical Peel Treatment Process

Chemical peels are applied by licensed and certified professionals at Anjella Paulette Esthetics. After cleaning your face thoroughly, a suitable chemical peel is applied. It is common to experience a mild burning, heat or tingling sensation that resolves with time.

The length of time the chemical peel is allowed to remain on the skin is determined by our specialists by carefully observing skin changes. You can expect mild discomfort/heat during and immediately after the treatment but this is temporary.

With light peels, there is no downtime, but you will require additional treatments for optimal results. With mid-depth peels, you may experience moderate peeling depending of the peel used. Sun restrictions will apply and aftercare instructions will be given by your esthetician. The fall, winter and spring months are the best times to take advantage of chemical peels, but a gentle peel can be performed during summer months as well. This can be discussed with your esthetician to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

The treatment time can take anywhere between 60 to 120 minutes.
